Quick Start Guide×
Adding Devices

Click the device buttons in the left sidebar (Switch, Router, Firewall, etc.) to place them on the canvas. Drag to reposition. Click the × on a device to remove it.

Patching Cables

Click a port on one device, then click a port on another to create a patch cable. Click empty canvas to cancel. Solid lines = untagged, dashed = tagged, dash-dot = both.

Port Editor

Click a port to open its editor. Set the device name, IP, assign Untagged/Tagged VLANs, toggle PoE, or mark it as a WAN uplink.

VLANs & Services

Expand a VLAN in the sidebar to assign DHCP, DNS, SBC, or Gateway services to specific devices. Select Cloud for DNS to use external resolvers (8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1) — this clears "No DNS" warnings. SBC can be assigned to Computers, Phones, and Servers to satisfy phone SBC requirements.

Warnings

Red bars on devices indicate missing services. No DNS / No DHCP means the VLAN lacks a provider. No gateway means no router/firewall is assigned. No SBC means a phone has no Session Border Controller on its VLAN. No path to WAN means no route to the internet.

Path Tracing

Use Path to Internet to hover over devices and see the route to your WAN. Path to Point B traces between two clicked ports. Trace by IP finds a path between two IP addresses.

SSIDs

Create wireless networks and assign them to a VLAN and an Access Point. SSIDs show as broadcast chips on the AP device.

Saving

Use Export to download your topology as JSON. Import to load it back. The canvas auto-saves to your browser.
